The Horse in the Wheel

Thursday, June 23rd, 2016

This Horse in the Wheel is an art project that my associate Libor and I worked on together.

The horse is cast of multiple layers of glass and fused together in a kiln, while the ring is made of polished steel.

The whole thing sits upon some simple wheels that allow for the horse to move.

The design is based on this toy from the early 20th century

The panels and frame ready to go for installation.

Bill and Brandon will be driving up to Gananoque tomorrow for the installation.

Can’t wait to see what this dome looks like in it’s new home.
