The elves are working away in the studio; we have two large domes underway an 8′dia and a 10′dia. While those take shape, enjoy this Oval Flat Lens designed by Lori Morris Design, built and installed by us.

Wednesday, December 7th, 2011I’ve been a bit remiss about this announcement nevertheless… without further delay…. we are thrilled to have Andrea working in our studio! She has adapted her technique to build on a curved form and transferred her previous experience with copper foil to working with lead came, all without missing a beat. Also like our multi talented group of artisans she is an artist in her own right; creating fused glass jewellery pieces among other items. Welcome Andrea!

Shown above is a remarkable example of Bill’s signature style, a whimsical interlocking pattern. Although the panels are all identical the interlinking looping circles unite the repeating panels into a larger tableau. In addition distinctive glass textures add a layer of detail and subtle complexity to the overall pattern creating this unique elegant leaded glass dome.
